Arima Hot springs town

Tsuzumigataki Park

The name Tsuzumigataki (Drum Waterfall) comes from the sound of water falling into a rock cavity, which resembled the rhythmic "pon! pon!" of a drum. Pure water from Mount Rokko flows down, and in the early summer twilight, fireflies flit about all around, accompanied by the refreshing sound of frogs chirping, making it the perfect spot for a refreshing forest bath.

Zuihoji Park

This is one of Kansai's most famous spots for viewing autumn leaves, which Toyotomi Hideyoshi praised, saying, "I could look at it forever and never get tired of it." Every year around November, you can enjoy the autumn foliage at the "Momiji Chaya" tea house, where bright red umbrellas are lined up.
